Hi! I’m Lara, wife to John and mom of 4. In fall 2022, I became a mother-in-law and Nana of 2 in one day!

All of My Filthy Rags started in my mind about 7 years ago when I was going through some heart-wrenching trials that revealed to me my failures and Gods Faithfulness.

I somehow thought that my “spiritual” thinking was the way to fix the mess in front of me. God gently and patiently revealed to me my error.

In His loving kindness He brought me to my knees time and time again in utter humbleness and dependence on Him.

It was in one of these moments that I was reminded that “all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…”

All of My Filthy Rags was born.

I realized that I truly have nothing good in me. Any good that I thought I had in me, was filthy in Gods sight. It is only because of His Son Jesus, Who saved me and made me new, that I am what I am.

It was then that I began to surrender everything to Him. My marriage. My children. My thoughts. My life.

It’s a process that will not end until I see Him face to face.

I hope to share Truth to you on this platform. Not my own truth, but Gods.
